It is no surprise that I am obsessed with Chambray. That blue hue against tan skin just screams summer and has a natural relaxed feeling about it. Not to mentioned usually the material is so soft and comfy. As Spring approaches and Easter is around the corner I am sharing some of my favorite pieces that can transition you right into that warm weather we are all craving, at least those in the North East like me.

Easter makes me nostalgic.

Easter is my favorite time of year. Mostly for the religious aspect. I think it’s all the changes you start to see right in front of you. Everything is coming back to life, no coincidence I’m sure, that this is how life works 😉 Trees and plants starting to bloom, bumble bees doing a dance in flight, birds chirping, bunnies hopping, children laughing as they run after their colored eggs on Easter Sunday.  My Birthday is also in April so that makes it fun! My mother asking if we want to watch Steel Magnolias again for the 2902930390202 time, my sisters and I favorite movie of all time. Yes, please. It’s just so special. A love of excitement and so much love.

One of my fondest memories on Easter when I was growing up was when my Mother would make her ” Easter Bunny Cake”. It’s my absolute favorite part of Easter. She would bake it and then let her girls decorate it and now her grandchildren get in on the fun.

This Dress is one of my all time favorites. This dress gives you a sense of empowerment. When you want to conquer a meeting, a luncheon or grab cocktails with your girlfriends to catch up, this is that dress. Effortless, timeless and it keeps it shape forever. The fabric of this dress is rich and a bit heavy, not that it will weigh you down but the texture is so beautiful. If you want a dress that outlines your silhouette and  makes you feel like a boss then this is your dress. Can we talk about this electric blue that just rocks my world and will yours too. This color looks great on everyone.

French Connection knows how to design for women. I keep coming back to this label because of how good their clothes make me feel. Sexy and Sophistication are two key elements I always like to recognize in what I wear.
